Gustav Klimt - Wrapped Canvas Painting

The artwork was as expected but what was annoying was that the canvas was far too slack, which is far from ideal.It could have been stretched at least over a centimetre more. This could have been avoided quite easily with more quality control.Still,I do like the design and it’s a faf to return so I will get my head around it and get it on the wall.

The print is lovely but the canvas was not as tightly wrapped as it should be - just a little floppy. The colours are a bit more purple than the reddish tones you'd expect from the picture. I've never seen th eoriginal unfortunately so I do not know how faithful a representation of the original it is. That said, it is beautiful either way

Love, love, love Klimt! I have always been a fan and my landing is a series of odd corridors so I have many Klimt on the walls. This one is tucked under the stairs to the loft room so it catches you eye as you walk along the landing. Up close its a mash of colour, but from a distance you can fully appreciate what Klimt has achieved.

Nice picture and colours but the canvas was a tad floppy and not tight.
