Our bedroom door would not stay completely open or closed. I had tried rubber and wood door jams, but one of our two dogs would ultimately chew them up. Then I saw an original of this cast iron dog at a local restaurant. I went online and discovered the reproduction at Design Toscano. While inconspicuous in size, the weight is more than adequate for the purpose, my dogs don't bother with it, and this little scottie makes me smile daily.
