A very good quality clock. With a nice weight, and looks great on the mantel. Up to now you cannot hear it ticking.

Perfect replacement for previous carriage clock which lasted over 40 years.

The clock is described as non-ticking on the Wayfair website. It does, in fact, tick! The website should be updated to reflect this. While it is a very nice clock, I wouldn't have bought it if I had read the reviews since one other purchaser said this in their feedback which I didn't find till after I received the clock.

The description of this clock states it is silent ticking. This is not true. Initially the tick was imperceptible and I took a chance and purchased. Unfortunately the tick has become louder and I regret my decision and wish I could return. I expected better of Acctim, as they are considered quality. For such an important aspect of the of the clock to be inaccurate is disappointing. The clock’s description is false and should be avoided if you want a silent ticking clock.
