Available in a range of colors to suit your existing décor, this patio awning ensures you’ll never have to cut your outdoor relaxation short due to bright sunlight or light drizzle! The awning is designed with water-resistant polyester fabric with a waterproof coating, offering basic protection against light rain and UV rays. It features a retractable function, so you can easily extend it for shade or retract it when not in use. Please note: This awning is intended for use in sunny or light drizzle conditions only. It is not designed for heavy rain, strong wind, or prolonged exposure to moisture. Retract the awning during heavy rain or inclement weather to prevent water pooling, fabric damage, or frame issues. The fabric is easy to clean, ensuring long-lasting use with proper care.

The instructions for the assembly and installation of this product are beyond a simple DIY person. Only experienced DIY people should takle this awning because:- 1. The instructions are in gibberish translated from chinese by a chinese person and do not make clear sence. 2. Some instructions are missing, particularly where to fasten the mounting brackets on the wall. 3. Where and how to mount the 'blockers'. 4. The fixing bolts for the brackets are not suitable for using with hollow bricks. New fixings had to be bought. 5. It is impossible to mount the unit on the wall once it has been completely assembled due to the weight and being able to mark and secure the bolts on the brackets. 6. The mounting brackets should be fixed with only the mounting bar, before the canvass and roller have been added to it. 7. The bolts to hold the unit to the brackets cannot be fitted as instructed because the roller and canvass obscure the holes for the bolts. They have to be inserted from below, not above as instructed. 8. Once built using initiative and mods to the instructions and new fixing bolts it has performed very well.. Tom. Harrogate, GB. The fabric of the awning is made from 280g/m² thick polyester mesh and coated with an additional PU coating. This ensures that it is dirt- and water-repellent and protects you from the weather and intense UV rays. The hand crank can be used to roll the awning out and back. Easy to install, you can enjoy protection against the elements even during the hot summer.

We were looking for a free standing awning to shade one side of our 3m x 3m pergola. This awning was the perfect answer. A couple of cable ties to hold it in place and the job was done! Construction was straightforward BUT you have to have the winding mechanism on the left. This means the roller only goes one way, so be careful to wind the cloth right-side up as there is a (slight) difference between the sides. Great value and highly recommended.. Mr M B. Chaldon, GB. This door canopy can be used over doors, windows, patios, porches, or air conditioners to create a shed for a longer roof as needed.

Sliding the canopy plastic into the brackets is a bit fiddley but once it is in place and the screws are secured the canopy is rigid and ready to fit. It would have been useful if the instructions stated the required drill size but it is easily measured, 10mm. I spent a while marking the the wall making sure it would be level end spacing was correct. It was helpful to have some help lifting it into place and fixing in place. Overall I am very pleased with the canopy, I am looking forward to not getting soaked when opening the back door for our dog.. Simon. Lincoln, GB. Sun Aug 13 2023
