I managed to erect the arch on my own but then I am 76 years of age and a female!!! Obviously took me longer than a more agile person. Has only been up for a couple of days so time will tell with regard to weather resistance. There are 12 steel pegs to help secure the arch in place. Didn't get 5 stars because of slight scratching due to packaging (not Wayfair's packaging but the original manufacturer's) and be aware that the width measurement includes the top overhang!
