An impressive garden bench in a classic British design made of solid, black lacquered cast iron. A stylish lion head decorates the left and right sides of the bench. The decking is made out of twelve sturdy, mahogany-coloured hardwood boards, which are easy to maintain. Cast iron exists in various levels of quality, which is measured by the density of the processed cast iron. The lesser the density, the lighter and wobblier is the product and the easier it can break. This bench offers a level of very high density and is therefore very sturdy and robust. The cast iron can be re-painted from time to time with metal paint. The wood should be treated with a commercially available coating, depending on the use and site of installation. The bench will be delivered in a carton and needs to be assembled. All fittings and instructions are included in the delivery and assembly will only take a couple of minutes.

Ordering was easy. Delivery came quickly. Assembly was very difficult. I couldn’t understand the instructions about which screws to use for the different steps. Very pleased with this. The Kellam bench is a cozy park bench. The lightweight aluminum frame color is royal grey. The back and seat are made from carbon grey Polywood. An easy-care plastic in a wood structure. So you have the warm look of wood, but you do not suffer from rot or crack.

Beautifully made which makes it so easy to assemble. Managed on my own in 30 mins. It’s relatively lightweight so it’s easy to manoeuvre but very solid and stable.
