Our large outdoor rattan chair with a matching footstool is the perfect addition to any outdoor living space, sunroom or even to make a cozy little reading nook indoors! A sturdy steel frame wrapped in practical and popular PE rattan, with the legs of the chair and footrest being powder-coated steel. The cushions are seriously squidgy with 12cm to sink into for seat and back cushions. Take some time for yourself in your own little private zen den with the chair. The chair frame and footstool are UV and weather-resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splashproof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. Well so far the look great. Seems quite sturdy etc. I don't know about 10 mins to put together though!!! The chair arrived very quickly, far sooner than I expected and was extremely well packaged. It took me around about an hour to assemble using the supplied Allen key, but I then had to search out a cross-head screwdriver with a very long neck (as the screws go deep inside the underside bar) to to attach the actual seat to the rest of the chair, so be warned and have a screwdriver of this description standing by when you come to assemble it. End result is one very study chair which will come in very useful for moving around the garden when required. Certainly easier that lugging a heavy bench around! Very pleased with it all.. Simon. The frames are UV and weather resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them. This product is FSC® certified, meaning the wood used is sustainably sourced. For the price quite a good chair. However, it is very complicated to assemble the instructions after the base and for the canopy are not that good and I can see why it needs professional assembly. I wish I had added this on as I now cannot assemble the canopy and have had to call in a handyman. The material the canopy is made of is not weatherproof and it does state susceptible to mould.
