Granite itself is attractive however the screws for tightening against the pole have poor threads and do not properly secure the parasol. Really should have returned it but was too much hassle.

Having had two of the cheaper concrete bases both of which eventually came loose with no access to the attaching mechanism, I started searching for a better quality product for my free standing parasol. This ticks all the boxes. The bolt that secures the pole holder to the base is accessible from underneath and sturdy. And the two pole screws add extra support. It looks great and is easy to move around using the hand holds underneath. Am hoping this lasts.

Nice heavy well made parasol base. Bought 2, no chance of rust running on patio. Looks great and a solid base with stainless steel tube, also a great price when on offer.
