Aaronjosh 3m W x 2.5m D Retractable Patio Awning

I bought this last year unfortunately haven’t put it up yet have been renovating my home but will put it up this spring

bit of a nightmare to build nice 1once up

Awning looks great. Unfortunately the fixings were not good and my husband had to take it down and buy decent fixings. I have provided a photo. The fixing is meant to expand out into the wall to secure awning but this did not happen so the awning did not feel safe. It is also definitely a 2 man job as is very heavy to put up.

Great quality. Quite difficult to install (took two men), but once up looks amazing. Easy to use and very sturdy. Very pleased with it

It was delivered quickly. This was a replacement for an existing awning. When it arrived, I realised that this needed to be assembled (unlike the original one). Having a reference of the old awning, this aided the assembly of the new one. But if I hadn't had the old awning to refer to, I doubt if I could have worked out what to do - the instructions were far from easily written and the picture reference guides were not clear either. I'm a reasonably competent DIYer and it took my wife and I about 3 hours to assemble, and I had the appropriate tools to hand. However, once installed on the wall, it works perfectly and is a great addition to the house.
