The pergola was overall easy to assemble. It was just tedious with to many bolts, probably took about 5 hours total. Would take less with 2 people. 2 people are definitely needed to assemble. The pergola is super sturdy and well made. We bolted it right on to the deck. It rained last night so I can say it prevents water from leaking through the top which is a nice addition to our deck. 1010 recommend for the price and convenience. We ordered the additional side curtain accessory for shade and privacy which was also easy to install.

This pergola is amazing! Looks great in the backyard and really adds that wow factor to your patio or sitting area. Be prepared this will take a day to assemble and you definitely need 2 to maybe 3 people to help hold parts in place while assembling. But when completed it's beauty speaks for itself. Quality materials as well. Very impressive. And made a lovely Mother's Day gift!!
