Oh dear…. My review is mainly due to the mess up over this furniture - in fairness the furniture itself looked nice and seemed quite sturdy, but I haven’t built or used it.
It should arrive in 4 boxes, but only 3 arrived. I won’t go on about the ensuing saga but suffice to say I’ve had piles of unboxed furniture around my house for over a week, couldn’t build it as each box seems to contain random parts, so I had arms of the chairs but no back, sofa back but no arms etc etc.
Wayfair staff have been helpful via email but have given up finding my lost box and issued a refund. Now I’ve got to re-box a huge pile of bits and pieces to be collected at some point, hopefully soon.
UPDATE - furniture collected 7:30am Sunday morning with no prior notice from Wayfair. Two chaps had no clue what they were collecting and could hardly fit in it their van, which involved a loud phone call to their head office from one of them in the street, all the time whilst their van was running diesel fumes everywhere…..
Wayfair clearly are living in the past with their level of customer service….. very poor. As I said, it’s a shame as what I saw of the furniture it looked nice!
Also, unless you feel very confident doing self build, don’t attempt this yourself, there are dozens of different screws, nuts, bolts etc and the multiple pieces of the furniture are not marked or labelled in any way.
