Flowclear Sand Filter Pool Pumps

After looking and trying different pool filters bought this and im very impressed . Works very well and easy to clean

After looking to upgrade the filter/pump that came with my 12ft pool, this looked to be the perfect solution, my only issues I have had with this are the fact the listing does not specify anywhere that this comes with a European plug and is not provided with an adapter for use in UK plug sockets, which for something advertised to the UK market is quite laughable. Secondly had a few problems with getting the seal right around the lid and the main body of the filter, re attempted several times but eventually resorted to replacing the Phillips (cross headed bolts) with some hex bolts as found them to offer more tightening ability. (Also the plastic jubilee ((pipe clips)) that are provided are pathetic and snap very easily, swapping for metal ones is advised) Contacted Wayfair regarding the adapter issue and whilst initial contact seemed to be progressing well, advising that ‘ Thanks again I’ve double-checked the item details on our side, and it looks like this particular product does indeed come with a European-style plug, without a UK adapter included. Because the item differs from what’s expected, this will need to be handled directly by the supplier. I’ll go ahead and escalate this to them so they can follow up with you directly about the next steps. In the meantime, I’ll also flag this with our listings team to review and update the product description — that way, future customers will have a clearer expectation before purchasing.‘ I am still yet to hear anything from the supplier and Wayfair will not provide an adapter to be used with the plug that comes with the item so be aware you will have to purchase an additional adapter elsewhere to be able to use this item in the UK. (Unless for some reason you have European plug sockets available already) TLDR; very good effective pump, required some tweaking and replacement of provided items to make it work (for me anyways) Be aware does not come with a UK plug or adapter so you will be required to supply your own for this to work.
