Gargoyle Statue

A very handsome. Beautiful beast not many people get this for there 75 birthday my husband has named him Edgar and he now lives on our patio

This one is really charming to me. He broods well.

Took quite a bit of searching to find, but "Detest's " expression wonderfully summarizes my view of "the world" (and reaction to it by and large), in just one glance. Was going to place him outside by the door to frighten away visitors, but liked him so much gave him a cozy place indoors.

My boy fell in love with gargoyles on a European trip and wanted a "real" one for his room. I searched everywhere for a stone gargoyle with no luck. I "settled for" this resin one and was pleasantly surprised. The resin looks (and almost feels) quite stone-like, and has a good heft. The statue is a good size. He's currently inside on a high shelf and looks great. He's a cute guy, just grouchy enough to pass for a real castle grotesque but not too creepy-scary for a living room or bedroom.
