Heavy and good quality, sturdy. The only criticism I have are the dowels, some holes should have been drilled 2 mm deeper.

Love the shape, comfort and sturdiness of the chairs. I found them a little difficult to put together

Easy assembly, remember to use a rubber mallet for the dowels. Lovely finish to the wood. They feel very substantial & sturdy.

I bought this chair as a present. It was a nightmare to put together and took a long time. Predrilled holes required dowling to be inserted to join parts together. One predrilled hole was only partly drilled out, and also we could not fit any of the pieces of dowling without using an electric drill to align the holes. Luckily the dowling fitted as our concern was that we would enlarge the supposedly predrilled holes too much. Not impressed and disappointed. I would have returned this chair if I hadn’t bought it as a present.

Comfortable, solid chairs. Would highly recommend!
