Much better than expected. Lies completely flat but can also be used as a deck chair. Is very low to the ground and unable to sit properly upright though. The picture reflects the most upright you can sit in it.

Firstly the delivery service was excellent, ordered Sunday & delivered the following Wednesday complete with tracking. Expensive but this is a quality item so hopefully good value for money. Just what I wanted for the beach, sturdy, lightweight and adjustable. There is no way to lock the chair when closed to carry so 4 stars however if you could lock the chair even with a strap then 5 stars, just a small observation but the chair remains a great product and a very good purchase, well pleased.
