Due to the high density of the wood, spilled water can be soaked up without leaving any trace. The very intensive wood grain is particularly striking. This natural grain was further enhanced by a smoked cherry oil coating. The bench is an ideal match for all dining tables, but it could also be used as a single piece in hallways or conservatories.

So beautiful! love the pattern of the wood, and the curved corners so no chance of bruised legs which i tend to do alot! 10 / 10 for how it looks and feels. I haven't given it 5 stars for a few reasons. One of the screws in the pre-assembled bit was missing (see photo) so the wood was twisted out. The other matching side was fine. Also, no instructions (though v easy to figure out) and the note inside, a guarantee? thank you note? care instructions ? was not in english. Also on the product description it says it hold only 150 pounds... which is equal to one person, its described as a dining bench, and the size could easily accommodate 3 people, so am feeling little nervous about it holding up to the strain if more then one person sits there! I have several pieces made from Sheesham wood. All are dark which is what I prefer. This piece, which arrived very well packaged, looks more like a honey colour which would have matched my oak doors. I spoke to one of your agents before purchasing who advised it was likely to be darker than the picture. It is however it is still lighter than my other pieces which is what I wanted in that particular bedroom. It also has a lovely sheen which reflects the light. A very sturdy little bench which I am using between twin beds as a bedside cabinet in a small bedroom. It looks pretty and unusual. Very happy with my purchase.. Anonymous. Wed Jul 10 2024
