Really disappointed with the quality of this product, to the point, that I put it in my skip. I have built numerous flat packed furniture over the years and this is the poorest item yet. Not only did some of the screws go right through the wood, so did a couple of the dowels i.e the dowel on the central foot came through the base shelf so it was on display. I know it was only £134, but that was money that I cannot afford to lose as pensioner. I have now ordered another stand from a different company. Poor quality , screws and holes way out of sink. Still got the draws to finish and then I decide if I’m returning it or not ? That also depends on if we think we can make it look how it should . This gorgeous TV stand has a distressed waxed pine finish and makes a stylish home for flat screen televisions up to 42'' in size. The unit looks good, and fits well in the alcove of my living room. The curved base makes it look more expensive than it is. There is plenty of room for additional devices, and the two drawers are of reasonable size. The colour is a bit drab but I intend to wax and shine it up. The instructions are basic to say the least, but I put it together in about and hour and a half. You definitely need a short stubby screwdriver to get the top attached. The unit is lovely but the instructions about how to put it together wasn’t correct and some of the screws supplied were the wrong size e.g 40mm screws supplied to attach a 40mm deep piece of wood to another piece. We only managed to put it together as we had larger screws and power tools. Some of the wood used in the unit is plywood rather than quality wood. This TV stand is made of pinewood. The cabinet is divided into six zones, half of which are dedicated to drawers, and the other is open shelves. Thanks to this solution, the furniture has gained a lot of functionality. A characteristic feature of the furniture is the unique natural pattern visible on all elements. The pinewood structure is on the drawer fronts and parts of the structure. Thanks to special treatments, contrasts in shades and discolourations have been emphasized on purpose.
