I replaced my standard chaise with this lounge chair because I was tired of having to sit on the end and scoot in and out. With the single arm I can sit on the side and raise my legs as easily as laying the couch. I also wanted the extra room on the cushion for 65 pound dogs to lay with me. It sits a couple of inches lower than a standard sofa which makes it easy for my senior dog to climb up on instead of having to jump up and down, while still being tall enough for me, also a senior, to comfortably use. The color is darker than the picture and looks navy blue, which I love. Both of the pillows have zippers on the side so I can remove the cover and hand wash, but the cushion cover does not come off. The wood frame is lightweight and was easy to assemble by myself. I wish the wood was heavier but I got this for the same price as the frameless foam chairs and this will hold up so much better. Very happy with this. It's for my mum who is waiting for a hip replacement. This is firm enough to give her the support she needs but soft enough to be comfortable and is a god height for her to get up from. The operation of lowering the back into the different positions is a bit noisy but incredibly easy to use. The only assembly was to screw the legs on. It's lightweight and easy to move if needed and the colour was better than expected as it looked darker on the website. Overall she is very happy with it and looking forward to not having to climb the stairs to go to bed. Very pleased with this versatile statement piece of furniture we bought for our small spare room. Previously had a single bed in there which took up a lot of room and was hardly ever used. Stunning blue colour and beautiful soft material. You have to screw on bolts to attach the back and apart from one where the hole was slightly out of line, it was easy to assemble. We have stored the duvet cover in the storage base for when we have a visitor staying over. When the arm is down it converts to a comfortable single bed however I would say it’s not suitable for anyone 6 foot or over to sleep on as it wouldn’t be long enough. Very good value for the cost.. The design is slightly different to the picture in that they appeared to have 5 rows of lozenge style finish, with the appearance of rounded edges separating each vertical row. This isn’t the case, but the appearance and finish is outstanding. It is very firm, yet comfortable. The cushions are VERY firm! They do NOT have a high back.
