I bought this after having the matching chair for a little bit, and it is a perfect match in terms of material and quality. Assembly wasn't terrible, but the placement of 4 hex bolts makes it annoying and time consuming to tighten them. Also know you'll have 4 L brackets to screw into place on your own without any pilot/guide holes drilled for securing the top to the frame. They're hidden, so it doesn't impact the look at all if you don't have them perfectly aligned, and there are dowels that line up the pad with the frame so it's impossible to build it off kilter.. Material The frame is made of hardwood and plywood and covered with normal foam and zigzag springs. The seat is filled with a HR 35/32 kg/m3 foam and a layer of HR 30/20 kg/m3 foam. Lloyd is upholstered in our Loma velvet fabric and has a luxurious look. The fabric has a fine feel and a beautiful, matt sheen. The Loma washed velvet consists of 80% polyester and 20% cotton, and has a full and heavy quality. The material is therefore suitable for intensive use (Martindale 100,000). The velvet fabric will not pill easily but is sensitive to light, discolouration of exposed fabric can occur in time. The fabric is, to the surprise of many, a very easy fabric to maintain. Dimensions The Lloyd has a height of 45 cm, width of 90 cm and depth of 90 cm. The black metal legs have a height of 15 cm and ø 3 cm. This gives the chair an airy and spacious look. Maintenance Small stains can easily be removed by dabbing with an absorbing cloth. Larger stains can be easily removed with a mild detergent and a microfibre cloth. If necessary, use a hair dryer to dry the stain more quickly. Keep enough distance so that the fabric does not burn. Afterwards, the fabric can be brushed with a velvet brush. This brush is very good for weekly maintenance. Impregnation is strongly discouraged for our velvets and teddy fabrics. In principle, we do not recommend impregnating our upholstered furniture. However, should you wish to do so, please test the impregnation agent on an invisible area of the fabric beforehand. Delivery The Lloyd footstool is delivered in one package.
