It says a console table which I would understand to be set behind a couch but this table is too low for that type. Because of this I put it in my entry which fills up a smaller space. It is well made. The faux marble is a light grey, almost unnoticeable. It was fairly easy for my husband to put this together and I could have also. Instructions were well written.
