Be mindful when putting it together. The instructions are not particularly clear. Arbitrary holes with no apparent use confuses construction. Match and identify pieces before fixing to avoid double handling. The parts are not numbered, so you must find the right piece from the pictures in the instructions. Packing of fasteners are not logical, two types used in different places are placed in the same packing without identifiers to differentiate. Make sure to have an angled screw driver or a long one to fix the legs to the bottom board. Would have saved a lot of time and trouble if they had made the instructions clear and place markers on the fastener packaging. The fact that the TV stand is actually pretty good, but only to be drag down by poor instructions that could have being easily corrected is annoying. My favourite of my purchases. The shelf space is brilliant which i really needed my husband has alot of old school consoles and game which fit perfectly. Love the door handles. As for cleaning the product i rang to ask this aswell as 2 other items made by the same manufactuer, Wayfair were excellent i had the answer less than 24 hours later. I like the unit very much and well made, however there was a defect. The is a crack in the rear corner of the unit. What makes this more disappointing is that the defect was known during manufacturing as an attempted repair had been made by trying to nail the crack close. This range is manufactured in a mix of solid oak, MDF and veneers. Oak solids & veneers are American White oak from the US. Small parts and some back pieces may be pine, while backs are composite. This product is painted in off-white with a light white wash through oak surfaces.

As some reviews condemn the manufacture and I believe these people have not adhered to the instructions.
