So overall the chair is fantastic but a few quirks let it down. The main issue really is the lumbar. There’s a metal bar which you place the cushions over HOWEVER the back rest Velcro is incredibly tight and constantly slips open. So I would definitely suggest getting some extra Velcropadding. The second quirk is the fact the instructions do not in anyway show which way round the backrest is supposed to go. Besides that the chair is a great bit of kit. It’s comfy besides the issue and the recline and rise is great it works as intended. There is a weird left right movement when it starts to rise but I’ll put that down to quirks and being new.. Dan. the headrest at the top of the chair needs more padding when in or close to the upright position. The existing headrest padding starts to low causing discomfort across the sholder blades. the picture of the chair on the webpage does not show the wiring for the heat pads & vibrating pads for the seat nor the foot stool. Great rocking chair! The blue is very light almost grey in some light. It was very easy to put together and comfortable when you move the headrest forward and arms around while reclining. I saw other reviews about the armrests not working correctly. You just have to push them down very far to hear a click, then they will adjust properly. Beautiful look and feel to the fabric, very hard wearing. Mechanism is very stiff to operate at first and there is a knack to it, can be quite difficult at first. Really comfortable to relax in, for a shorter person, under 5 ft, in the upright position it seems a few inches off the floor.
