Finally found the time to update my review. The manufacturer quickly sent a replacement lid and my beautiful jewelry box is complete. I can even store some of my chain belts in the generous drawers. Still in love with this jewelry box. Get it, you won’t regret it.
I was so excited to get this jewelry box. It was a replacement Christmas gift from my husband. I waited to even open the box because our master suite was under an entire renovation. With our room approaching completion, I opened the box. Let me say I gasped when I saw it. It’s so beautiful and quality for the price. I went with a French Country look and it fits perfectly. It comes extremely well packed in that styrofoam that ends up everywhere in your house. Especially this piece which was form fitted to the piece and the bottom of the box. I had to tear up the styrofoam to get it out. I already opened the box up to make it easier. I’m still finding those styrofoam balls, but my jewelry box was in perfect condition. I was so excited until I realized there was no lid. I searched through the cardboard and styrofoam 4 times, followed by my husband. We were hoping I just over looked it. Well since I received this in January, I figured my time to file a complaint had expired in June, so I did not go through Wayfair. (Lesson learned, open the box immediately, but keep all the packing. Wayfair needs pictures. Their Customer Service is awesome, and they might have remedied it anyway.) I called the number on the insert and they are shipping a replacement. I’m still waiting, but it’s only been a few days. Doesn’t look like this is a common issue, so I would highly recommend
this item. It comes mostly assembled. You just have to put the legs on, and the mirrored lid, which, as you know, is absent at this time.
