It appears to pretty strong metal. Assembling was easy. However manual instructions not detailed and no instructions on how to attach the tv to the two panels which attach to the stand. Luckily the panels that attached my tv to the wall previously can hook into the stand but it doesn’t appear to be too safe, so I’m taking my chances, until I go to the hardware store and ask the guys there how to go about it and what screws to use because there’s a bunch of holes behind the tv and I have a bunch of leftover screws not knowing where it goes. I do love the cabinet now that it’s finally put together . 1. I ordered Alder White color. I was expecting more of a white color and it is actually more beige. So we almost returned it. But it worked ok with my colors. We are seniors and return would be just too much. 2. Then came the building of it. The directions were horrifying. It took over 4 hours to get it together. Very frustrating and hard to understand. Don’t want to buy another one and would not recommend to anyone after our experience. TV stand is pretty much exactly what I was expecting and for the price payed it really feels like an excellent deal. Only reason I'm not giving it a 5 start is that the 3 doors were missing the screw holes where the hinges are fitted.
