I’m sick of hard chairs. I wanted something comfy and padded and swively so people would stay at the table instead of migrating to softer furniture with food and for playing board games. Yet, I wanted a wipeable surface because…kids. I *almost* got what I was looking for with these chairs. They look nice and modern, they swivel well (some get a bit loose), and they are comfortable. The two cons that I have are 1) I wish the angle of the chair was a little more upright and 2) my niece spilled a drink and it seeped down to the padding because of the holes where the stitching makes “stripes”, so they definitely aren’t waterproof which makes me sad. A disappointment. At just shy of £100 each we expected these wooden chairs to be of a decent quality. However, all 4 of the chairs which we ordered had a split across the seat. Strangely, the seat isn't made of a single piece of wood, but instead is several small planks joined (glued?) together. Each has split along one of these joins. If you're happy to put a seat pad or cushion on, they'll be fine (assuming the cracks aren't sufficient to cause the seat to break) but we expected better for the price.. Rhian. Windsor, GB.
