Derived from the French word for 'curled' or 'ringed' yarn or fabric. This handwoven upholstered furniture piece is made of cotton and natural yarn, combining buffalo hide leather to create a beautiful fusion of colours and materials. It has a belted strap design and also features solid wood legs which have an oak-ish finish providing strength and durability.
Handcrafted from sustainably sourced wood, each piece is truly unique. Natural characteristics such as grain, knots, and tonal variations should be celebrated as hallmarks of authenticity, not flaws. While digital imagery provides a close representation, each item carries its own individuality—so subtle differences in material, color, or finish may appear—yet every piece remains consistent in quality, specifications, and craftsmanship.
This product is handmade using quality solid wood in a community-driven, sustainable way which is certified by B Corp. Furthermore, the entire supply chain of timber management is certified under responsible forestry. The factory is socially compliant and is aiming for a net zero carbon-free future by 2030.
