I ordered two of these. One was delivered and was clearly damaged and had been returned by a previous customer (their address was still on the inside packaging). I guess they simply wrapped it up again and sent it out. It was unsurprising it was damaged as the packaging consisted of layers of bubble wrap but nothing hard around the edges to avoid damage. The second one turned up about a week later, slightly better packaging (a layer of cardboard under the bubble wrap) but still inadequate considering the price of the item. I suspect this company gets a lot of returns for damage. The second one was in good condition so I am keeping it. I had asked for a replacement for the first one but after waiting more than a month I now have a refund and I don’t think I will be getting the second one. It’s a shame as I had ordered them as a pair and I will now need to find somewhere else to put the single one as it looks odd by itself. Overall I like the item, but I wouldn’t order again as I feel it is very expensive for what it is and now I am stuck with just one when I wanted two. I think I would have preferred none. The lesson here is that I will buy locally in future, and also beware the returns option with Wayfair. I had to drive the package to some DPD depot about half an hour away, all a bit more effort than I needed considering the item was faulty before it left the warehouse.

Had to return the 1st one ordered as one of the legs was damaged, however, there was no trouble with the replacement one which arrived a few days' later. Happy with the purchase - as described but a little more rustic than I would have liked.

Very neat a looked lovely in our hall. Great for keeping gloves , scarves and other essentials . Got many compliments.

Arrived two days early and was exactly as advertised

I do like it, it does the job where I wanted it to go, space wise. The actual wood doesn’t seem as strong and as good as I would have liked.
