Solid and lid fits very snugly. great size and great concealed storage. If i had the space, i'd buy another.

Lovely piece, lots of space inside, very solid. Reason for three stars? Just running my hand over the top of it with a ring on marks the surface. I don’t know what the white material is or if they used some sort of protective coating on it (seems not, but it’s going to look like junk after a few weeks of normal use.
