I like the solid wood feel and the overall design of the unit. I found it difficult to put together, requiring a considerable amount of effort to understand the drawings. I bought the white version, but the finish is simply primer with all the knot holes showing through. I therefore had to paint it. The drawer bottoms are not sufficiently robust and I believe will sag over time. I would have expected plywood for the price. Finally the drawers are not quite evenly spaced and I can’t see any adjustment to make this right. However, despite everything I really like the look, and the quick refund for damage done during transit.

Two reasons why this is not 5 stars: 1. I had to chase regarding delivery, because updates ground to a halt at one point and the item seemed to have been stuck in a warehouse somewhere. To be fair though, Wayfair got back to me pretty quickly and got things moving again. 2. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON... this is not fully assembled (as stated under Assembly within the Specifications). It came flat packed and took over four hours to put together. Other people would very likely do it quicker, but I was determined to be methodical in following the instructions. The unit itself went together well, seems pretty robust and looks exactly as in the picture.
