I had high hopes for this chair, given the price and that it included most of the ergonomic adjustment features I wanted. While it's not uncomfortable, I do still find myself fidgeting to get comfortable and having to fiddle with the adjustments quite often, and some parts are not of great quality. The plastic bit that sits over the back of the base to connect the seat back to the seat cracked as soon as I slid the seat back into position. It didn't break completely but it's a substantial crack which I expect will worsen over time with daily use.
Assembly was a bit of a challenge, thanks to the ambiguous instructions. All variations of the chair are on the same sheet and it wasn't easy to work out which one was for my chair. The armrests in particular made absolutely no sense and I had to just wing it and hope for the best.
I'm not sure whether the assembled measurements given were inaccurate or my poor measuring (or assembly), but I can't have the chair at the required height AND fit the armrests under my desk, which was something I thought I would achieve with this chair. I'm short (5"3) and need to sit high to the desk but also close so I can reach the keyboard comfortably, and ideally I would have the armrests tucked under the desk when I'm actively 'working' and then use them to lean on when I'm not typing etc. (E.g. during online meetings) and I'm having to either have the chair a bit lower than is comfortable or at the right height but not quite close enough because of the armrests.
Overall it's not the worst chair I've ever used, but only 3 stars due to the negative points I've mentioned.
