Knocker Ring Wing Back Velvet Dining Kitchen Chairs (Set of 2)

Initially when opening the box the chairs looked great, v.pleased with the colour, however disappointment set in as the chairs were assembled. On two of the chairs the seat did not position well with the chair backs leaving a gap between the two parts, very noticeable when the other chairs fitted together well. Care had not been taken when fitting the material onto the frame as the material had been left unstretched and baggy near base of the chair backs leaving a and marks on the material suggesting something remaining behind the material leaving a raised lump, care also not taken when fitting studs as looked out of line and wavy on couple of chairs and where the last stud on the back of the chair meets the seat area there is what appears to be a stud covered tight under the material, the worry being that with use of sitting on the chair this will rub causing the material to thin overtime until it wears completely. I wonder too about the adjusters under the chair legs that even with the added felt pads leave a very deep indentation into the carpet through to the carpet backing (this is not a cheap carpet), more so after people continue to sit on the chairs, so cups will have to be purchased to create a more even weight spread. All these issues suggest little care not taken with the overall finishing of the chairs, which from a distance look fabulous, but leave me feeling somewhat disappointed and sad after a long wait for the chairs to be back in stock. I did try ringing to place a verbal dissatisfaction, but as it was the weekend have had to make do with this course of action and will try to call again tomorrow Monday when you are available. I have taken pictures and as previously stated from a distance the chairs look perfect, just what I wanted, but the excited pleasure I felt soon fell into a sick despondency in the pit of my stomach and I wept in disappointment.
