Delbis 223cm H x 222cm W Bookcase

I ordered the 296cm wide bookcase to make a wall to wall library. The bookcase that was delivered was 222cms wide. It is described incorrectly in the website. What was delivered was 3 units of 74cms width each. Not only that, one of the the units had the predrilled holes in really awkward positions so that screws could not get there. Despite talking to many agents at customer services, we were unable to get two more units- one to replace a missing unit, and one to replace the misaligned one. The option given was to return the whole of the old one- despite us having built two of the units already, and start again with a whole new library bookcase. My husband and I took two days to dismantle the existing bookcases, and finally the new system arrived. Lo and behold, this new unit was also copiously labelled on the packaging as 296cms wide, but turned out to be once more 3 units of 74cms adding up to 222cm library! I am happy with the quality of the wood and the tall bookcases do look good in my room. Wayfair finally realized that this is a systematic problem at the manufacturer where someone has not done the maths and thinks 3x 74cms = 296cms. I am really cross that the small discount they gave me doesn't make up for the month where my office/treatment room was inoperable because the half made bookcases were taking up the whole space.
