Shocking instructions! Top makes it sink below the steel frame... poor design

This console table is self-assembly. The instructions and diagrams for assembly were very poor indeed - far too small and in places inaccurate. Some of the wooden pieces had guide holes missing; clearly not done in the factory, so I had to do them myself. The metal drawer guides were a nightmare to fit and adjust and in the end the drawers would not fit level or nicely how ever hard I tried to adjust them. The guide holes didn't seem to allow for much in the way of adjustment and clearly were not precisely located enough. Should have returned it all but had thrown away the packing! Big mistake! I eventually threw the metal guides away in disgust and had to fit wooden slides instead to make the drawers usable. The back panel bowed when fitted so I had to drill holes and screw it into the central divider to draw it into place. Overall, very poor quality, 4 hours to fit together and I am very competent at DIY and my wife and I both have degrees! I would never buy furniture like this from Wayfair again. In contrast, I received a bathroom wall unit from NEXT and the quality, the instructions and the fitments were in a different class! It assembled well and the finish was excellent.

Disappointed with this product as it appears to be a return item. Assembly was difficult as numbers were missing on items and wrong numbers applied. After some difficulty the desk was assembled, however, the draws provided were a poor fit. Additionally, predrilled holes were also absent which also added more frustration. I have little confidence this table will last long. Total waste of money.

Very light weight flimsy, had no choice but to keep it we realised it once it was all put together
