Vosburgh L-Shaped Solid Wood Base Executive Desk

Lovely desk. It is quite hard to assemble but worth it. Good quality and looks great. My office is now my favourite room in the house.

Absolutely fantastic, high quality desk! Lots of steps to put together, but well worth it.

The desk arrives in too heavy boxes and you won't believe how may parts there are - Parts A to PP and 33 bags of fittings. We found some of the labels had also fallen off so were matching to the pictures when constructing the desk. It took 2 of us 4 hours to put the desk together. Having said all that the instructions are very clear, from step 1 to 49, the pictures are very good and wording clear. The desk is well made and the number of fixings mean it won't fall apart anytime soon. I have 1 gripe and that is there is a cable hole on the top and bottom of the high drawer set for running your power and monitor cables too but there is nothing to manage the cable underneath so it trails across the floor looking awful - in the end we drilled a hole to run the cable so it isn't visible anymore. In summary the desk looks great and is everything we wanted - Is it great value? probably not but it is good value.

It’s a gorgeous desk BUT ours arrived with loads of scratches. For such an expensive item I expect WAY BETTER quality control. Also, we hired someone to put this together. It took him almost 4 hours and he’s a flat pack pro... so be warned, there are TONS of pieces.. would we buy it again, yes BUT it’s definitely not worth the high price...

We have never seen a flat pack with so many parts! We nearly sent it back! But we persevered and the instructions were incredibly clear and the parts engineered beautifully. The holes lined up perfectly etc. One star deducted as I think the time to take to build doesn’t justify the price and another star deducted as it’s quite a small desk particularly one side that is very low. Do check the measurements.
