Rigid and a great addition to my dining table. Couldn't be happier with the quality. I wish it medium oak color is available to blend well with my dining table. Other than that everything is good.

It does the trick! Seems sturdy-ish, was easy to set up. It’s not beautiful, I don’t expect it to be an heirloom, but it’s doing great for what I needed it for (combination coffee table and extra seating).
