First, although apparently it arrived in the UK a week after ordering, it then took a further 3 weeks to deliver which was irritating. When it finally arrived it took several hours to put together , with more glue needed, a couple of screws missing, parts not fitting easily together with some cracking when trying to get dowels in. When it was finally up, it became evident that the dimensions did not match those set out in the Specifications section of the product page on the Wayfair site. I don't know where the "Shelf 44cm x 80cm W" comes from nor the "Individual Compartment 44cmH x 44cm W". Mine measure 33x79x27 in the interior. I also note that the Dimensions state that the bookcase is 27cm deep when in fact that is the internal shelf measurement whereas the exterior is 29cm deep. As I bought it to go in a specific space between two doors, it was important to me that it should measure 27cm, not 29cm. However, the most disappointing feature was the thin coat of what seems like undercoat that leaves all the knots and stains of the wood visible and basically just looks grubby. I have had to repaint it so it doesn't look like a shabby junk shop find - and given the price, that's really not something I'm happy about.
Otherwise, all that said, it's a decent sized bookcase that will give me much needed storage.
However, given the delays in delivery, time to put it together, failure to match the specification and grubby looks, I won't be rushing out to buy another.
