Gabrielle Hall Tree 90cm Wide

I purchased this small sideboard to go with a 2-drawer unit from the same range - bought from a different retailer. The whole experience has been shocking... it took over a week of daily chasing to get a delivery date, as once the item had been delivered to the courier depot it went nowhere for almost a week. Also, despite informing Wayfair the item needed to be taken up a small flight of internal stairs (12 steps) and they agreed it wouldn't be a problem, the driver refused and left the cabinet on the pavement outside my home! He later returned and apologised and we did manage to get the item in to my property only to find, once unpacked, that it was severely damaged/ drawer broken/wouldn't close properly. The paintwork was also really shoddy and didn't appear to match the unit i already have, despite being listed as the same colour. After calling Wayfair (for the 15th time that week) a courier was booked to collect the unit the next day and I then had to re-pack it in broken/ripped cardboard! The courier arrived promptly the next morning but Wayfair had listed the collection as 2 items,rather than 1, which meant i then had to speak to the courier management on the phone on my doorstep to negotiate that there was only ever 1 item to collect before they would accept it. To make matters worse the unit was delivered with a huge mirror - which I hadn't ordered. Wayfair couldn't explain why I'd received a mirror with the order and confirmed it was not part of someone else's order. It was so huge I couldn't even get it through my front door! Needless to say, I have cancelled my order completely and will not be ordering a replacement or anything else from Wayfair. All the customer service staff i spoke to were helpful and all did their best to put the situation right, but gone are the days when you just spoke to people who could make a decision, which is then actioned and put right but I fully accept things were out of their control. I'm now looking for the unit elsewhere and hope to recieve my refund before the turn of the next Century.
