Good product. Arrived quickly. But very poor instructions which led to a very long building process

Delivery was quick and within the timeframe stated. Overall the item is fine and does the job it is intended for, but there are some points which prevent it getting a higher rating. There was a chip on one of the panels, but luckily this was in an area which is at the back of the unit - but it's something that you would have expected to be noticed on inspection, which suggests the manufacturer does not inspect their items - you're taking your chances... the feet are fixed with 4 x small screws each, but the panel only has 2 x pilot holes per foot. Not the end of the world, but it's a bit of a corner-cutting move on the side of the manufacturer. The pilot holes for the door hinges are no more than tiny recesses, which make it difficult to get the screws to bite when fitting them. I drilled better pilot holes to solve the issue, which is great if you have a drill to hand but not if you don't. Some of the metal fixings are very low quality and don't secure the panels all that well - the unit is very reliant on the back panel being nailed on to give it some rigidity. I also felt that the 2 x gloss doors aren't really all that glossy. Other considerations are that if you have a large amplifier or similar, with HDMI connections etc. there's not quite enough depth in the unit - I cut an extra section out of the back panel for it to fit, which also makes it easier to wire in the connections. I also raised the height of the glass shelf by drilling new holes for the clips. Would be nice if the unit came pre-drilled with a couple of height options to suit your own needs. Finally, the instructions are really not that useful. The size and quality of the diagrams is so small that it can make it tricky to see what they are trying to demonstrate. The panels in the instructions are helpfully numbered from 1-9, which didn't help with one of my parts numbered as 10, and most of the others not matching the diagrams. It's not difficult to figure out, but again it's just lack of care from the manufacturer. LED strip seems fine and adds a nice little touch to things. Overall it looks absolutely fine, and it's quite basic - don't expect the wow factor and you should be happy with it - it's functional rather than eye-catching, and suits my needs, but I don't think the quality meets the price-tag.

Great looking unit, and easy to assemble. Very small dent on the corner when it arrived, but barely noticeable, otherwise would have been an easy 5 stars
