The parcel arrived in good time but the quality of the cupboard is poor. A professional joiner put it together for me. He found it tricky. He said, "This is as bad a cupboard as I have seen. The different panels don't align together properly. The backing board is flimsy and is not secured properly. The chipboard flakes off easily. Several small chips have flaked off the veneer on the doors. It looks like a larger chip in the veneer has been filled in and covered over with the same finish as the rest of the cupboard - there is a small rough patch under the veneer. The instructions say to cut out a square hole with a saw - why could that not be done in the factory! The dimensions given for the hole are far too big for the small fitment they make way for. These holes are visible through the glass doors." The edging of doors is also worn looking. Altogether a shoddy piece of work.

The quality of this item wasn’t what you expect from Wayfair but on complaint, Wayfair but me in touch with the seller who agreed a reduction on the price I paid. I wouldn’t normally have accepted but I needed the space and I accepted. I had to paint the unit which wasn’t ideal but I. Wood was very flimsy and the coating cracked in quite a few places.

The quality of this cupboard is abysmal! The melamine type of surface, on mine, was chipped in many places and virtually all adjacent edge strips had excess adhesive on front facing surfaces. Likewise the sections that make up each of the doors, has very poorly aligned dowels that make the accurate assembly near on impossible. Also the 100mmx100mm sections that need, as per instructions, to be cut from the back board panels is excessive. When the cupboard is fixed to a wall a smaller dimension would show less of the wall through the back of the cupboard. In fairness to Wayfair, the complaint team gave a rebate that caused me to keep it, rather than to go through the grief of sending it back. Would I buy another? Absolutely not, no matter which company is fronting its UK sale this cupboard is shoddy!!
