Unfinished TV Stand for TVs up to 55"

I brought this TV stand because it is one of a few available in the market that has large enough internal space for my amplifier. The assembled product seems sturdy and door hinges and soft closing mechanism works fine so far. I gave it a low rating due to a major design flaw. The top glass panel and the bottom legs are assembled using four long screws going thru the side panels. So at step 12 of the assembly (see photo), I need to lift the half finished cabinet to fit it to the four screws. What made it worse was that one of the screws was stuck inside the side panel. It was very difficult and stamina consuming to maneuver the cabinet in mid air trying to fit it. It could have been much better if the legs and top panel were designed to be assembled separately. At last, I needed to enlarge the holes to make it fit. Other than that, the TV stand looks good. The surface wood pattern lamination seems a bit weak and must be handled with great care. The door hinges of the bottom cabinet may make putting larger equipments there difficult.

I've put lots of furniture together over the years and this was quite easy to do on my own. Couple of bad points tho. The middle foot which isn't seen wasn't level with the 4 corner feet hence the whole unit wobbled and I had to find a way to level it. The 3 hinges fixed to the bottom shelf get in the way meaning I had to put both my amplifier and DVD player on a stand to raise them above the hinges.

The photo doesnt do this TV unit justice, its a lovely piece of furniture, Easy to assemble with clear instructions. Im now looking for a display cabinets to match.

Great, just what we were looking for.

Despite an email stating it was on its way, had to chase for information about delivery. Item arrived and unpacked. Instructions stated 2xpersons 1 hour to assemble. No way...it took much longer than an hour! The instructions were of the drawing nature with a very small print, making it difficult to read for us older folk! The 2 x M fixings were missing and we noticed towards the end of this experience, a chip in the glass top. By this time we were at the end of our tether and couldn't face sending back and having to start again! When dismantling the packaging shards of glass dropped on the floor. Having said all that the product is solid, and as described. Our 55" tv sits perfectly on top. Our recommendation to Wayfair would be to have the instructions in a larger print and to offer - for an extra cost, of course - the option of having larger items ready assembled to purchade.
