This was perfect for my childs whimsical playroom. I didnt add the door so it would be easier to use. Also, as others have mentioned, a couple of boards split a tiny bit even though I was careful hand screwing. It didnt affect the build but it is slightly visible on one side. So be extra careful when putting it together. It holds a ton of stuff!

This is a cute shelf, but it did take a while to assemble. It was definitely easier doing it with my daughter. This shelf will work nicely in my preschool classroom. I did not add the door because I felt it would be easier for my students to access the books easier by leaving it off. My reason for only three stars is because of how time consuming it was, some of the wood cracking when screwing in the screws, and some of the holes were not already pre-drilled so we had to make some to make it easier to screw together.

I recently ordered this bookshelf from Wayfair for our playroom, and I absolutely love it. It holds so much more than I expected—books, toys, stuffed animals—and it looks so cute in the space. One of my favorite things about this bookshelf is how much it helps with organization. I was able to get so many toys off the floor and now everything feels more put together. It also holds a good number of books, and the open design makes it easy for little ones to grab what they need. That said, the setup did take a while. The instructions were decent, but it’s definitely a time investment—especially if you're assembling it on your own. I’d recommend setting aside a couple of hours and maybe grabbing a second pair of hands to make things go more smoothly. I also noticed that some of the thin backing pieces cracked a little when I screwed them in, but since those parts face the wall, they’re not visible at all once the bookshelf is in place. It’s a small issue, and honestly, the final result still looks great. If you’re okay with a bit of a longer assembly, I’d definitely recommend this bookshelf. It’s sturdy, spacious, and really elevates the look of the playroom. I’m so glad I ordered it—it’s both practical and pretty, and I’ve already gotten compliments on how nice it looks!

This product is like described in the listing. We chose not to add the doorcabinet feature to make getting toys easier for our kid since they are still young. But you could easily add this on. Assembly was on the difficult side for 1 person who is a skilled builder. The use of our own tools was helpful.

It is beautiful and easy to assemble! perfect for small spaces as well. Only concern is the material quality is not the best, some wood panels crack a bit while tight screws. But my baby loved it!
