While it only took me about 30 minutes to assemble the bookcase (by myself), this thing was a hassle and a half. This bookshelf is incredibly unstable, as other reviews have mentioned (although I do have mine on carpet so a different floor surface might yield better stability). I decided to use the included L-bracket to mount it to the wall. However, the included instructions were beyond unhelpful. They did not specify what size drill bit to use for the included anchor. After several tries and much frustration , a 3-8” (three eighths inch) drill bit was the one I needed. Additionally, I’m also not convinced I actually received the product I ordered. Wayfair advertises this as the Phaneuf Corner Bookcase by Wrought Studio. However, what I received and built appears to be the Alice Bookshelf by Decorotika. Overall, while it looks nice, it was an incredible pain to put together and the quality of this item is definitely not worth the price I paid for it.

It’s the perfect corner bookshelf! We did have to tie it down to for sturdiness for earthquakes. Definitely one of my favorite pieces i’ve bought.

Not very strong, but worth the price.

Just what I needed to tie together our spare room. Keep in mind though, if you have baseboards it will not be easy to connect to the wall. Because of this I have them freestanding, but they work for what I needed.
