Irondale Glass Writing Desk

If there was a way to offer zero stars, I would. The issue - Ordered this desk which seemed simple to put together however it appears there were two issues. One - the holes that were to align to the frame to hold the glass were not aligned and two - the bottom portion of the frame was not the same length as the top part with the misaligned holes. Therefore this was impossible to put together. The first thought was that this was a defect and to request a new desk. Well, the second desk arrived with the same problem! Bering guidance, I contacted Wayfair and after 30 minutes was connected with someone who understood my frustration and was able to coordinate a return of both desks. With this said, I discourage the purchase of this. The picture attached are of both desks which were never put together. If you look closely, you will notice the defect of each desk which was the same. It’s beyond a headache.

Perfect size, easy to put together and love the two shelves. Chair, file cabiney are Wayfair as well.

Easiest thing ever to assemble! The glass is heavy, so I suggest moving the assembled frame to desired desk location prior to setting glass. I did it by myself with no problem- took about 15-20 mins (single mom with limited building skills). Fits in almost any location in the home. I don’t have a “study” area or extra bedroom, so this fits perfectly in the living room where it’s out of the way but functional. Would also make a good sofa table or serving buffet in dining room.

Love the look but holes did not line correctly, so was only able to attach 3 of the 4 corners.
