The holes were 2 inches off from the base to top. I received an email to loosen one side, which obviously did not work. Have not heard back since. Also the light strip did not work.

Thrilling if you like meccano. This is quite tricky unless you have a flair for engineering & the dexterity of a conjuror.It looks ok after two hours of screwing! Make sure you have some spanners handy!
