Sideboard Heang

Terrible!!! I was a bit sceptical of ordering this unit with the terrible reviews about putting it together but decided to give it a go based on the useful info in the reviews about how to do it. My order arrived yesterday, box 23 when we opened it contained 4 pieces of damaged (cracked and bent) parts, namely the top, base, side and plinth, none of which are usable. I completed the online form about damaged items, fully expecting to get a response saying they would send a replacement box out, but no, got a reponse saying it was down to the manufacturer and they would notify them and someone from the manufacturer would get in touch in 1-2 working days (bear in mind this was a Friday afternoon!) to offer a solution. So I contacted Wayfair by phone, only to wait for 12 minutes to be told exactly the same thing! I told the advisor that i hadn’t bought from the manufacturer, and that I had bought through Wayfair so surely it makes it their issue to solve so the buck was well and truly passed on. So now waiting to see when the manufacturer get in touch, Wayfair say they will only get involved again if the manufacturer doesn’t get in touch so no idea how long this will take to resolve. Would not recommend Wayfair to anyone!

Brilliant quality sideboard. Very sturdy and strong!!

Gorgeous sideboard once built! Things were labelled in the instruction book but not on the actual screw bags or the pieces of the wood which made it difficult but we got there in the end! If you want the legs on it, skip the part where you add the wood beams to the bottom and just put the legs on after attaching the bottom piece to the rest of the unit. You have to make your own holes to add the legs on too so make sure you place them evenly!

The unit is lovely and just what I was looking for. I'm not the best at DIY but it took me a lot longer than 2hrs to put it together, some really tricky little bits to put in and the instructions aren't great. There's also quite a few bits left over at the end, no idea what some of them are but they're not on the instructions. I'd give the instructions 2/5 but the unit itself 5/5, good value and looks really nice
