I’ll start with the positive once it’s finally assembled, the wardrobe looks absolutely beautiful. It’s modern, sturdy, spacious and genuinely looks far more expensive than it is. If you’re only judging the finished product, it’s fantastic. Unfortunately, getting to that point was one of the most frustrating furniture assembly experiences I’ve ever had. This is a huge four-door wardrobe with hundreds of components, including around 100 different screws, fittings and hardware pieces. None of the parts are labelled. Not a single panel or fitting has an identifying number, despite the instructions referring to different components. Some assembly steps have no instructions at all, leaving you to guess what to do next, while other sections are so poorly explained that you end up relying on common sense and trial and error. Even someone experienced in assembling furniture would find this unnecessarily difficult. For an average customer, it’s incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, one of the mirrored doors arrived broken. It then took almost two weeks of emails and complaints to receive confirmation that a replacement would be sent. The manufacturer’s customer service was disappointing and often inconsistent, and resolving the issue took far more time and effort than it should have. In the end, Wayfair stepped in and resolved the situation, but it shouldn’t have reached that point. Would I recommend the wardrobe Only if you’re very confident assembling complex flat-pack furniture, have plenty of patience, and ideally have another person helping you.
