This chair is extremely disappointing:
1. The legs are not actually made of brass/gold but are rather painted gold/brass. The paint job is very uneven, with blobs and missing spots everywhere. It also chips really easily.
2. The leather stitching is much more ostentatious than pictured in single photo. It is actually very large and extremely garish and unsightly.
3. The chair itself is poorly and cheaply constructed. Instead of having the seat sit onto the cross braces as appears in the photo, the chair is attached to an extremely ugly plastic bracing that looks as though it once came from those plastic chairs in a high school classroom.
4. The one chair that I unwrapped and unboxed already had significant damage to the leather, with scratches and marks all over the body.
5. The chair leather is also not at all as pictured! The leather is a tan color instead of the dark mohagany pictured.
This stool is very ugly and not as pictured AT ALL. I am very disappointed in the product and in Wayfair as a company.
