Rawls 2 Door Manufactured Wood Wardrobe

Works well in the bedroom, just what we required, unfortunately first one arrived with parts in white and parts in oak so had to wait for a replacement.

Just opened the packaging and both side panels are badly damaged. I guess the rigorous quality checks need a revamp!

Exactly what I hoped it would be. Nice colour wood, and reasonable weight/quality. It looks lovely. Takes about two hours to assemble if all goes smoothly. Hiccups are likely to occur through user error rather than bad instructions, though these must be observed carefully. It would help if the fixings were labelled, so identify these at the start. As I was working alone, I found it easiest to do the initial assembly with the unit on its back, to reduce strain on delicate fixings. Do not tighten screws fully until you are sure you have it right! Also, take extra care with fixing the drawer runners, as it is hard to tell from the instructions which way up they should go. If screws are stiff to turn, dip the tip in a little oil of any kind and it is easy. Also, pay attention to orientation of veneered/ unfinished edges. Do not be dismayed when you first hang the doors! Even if they are wildly out of alignment at first, patient experimentation with the ingenious adjustable hinges (See back page of instructions) can yield perfect results. There were a few hiccups with delivery as the unit comes in three packages, and not all arrived simultaneously, but Wayfair were very helpful sorting this. No regrets!
