Decent for the money, but not fantastic quality. The assembly instructions also left a lot to be desired!

Neat tidy chest easy to assemble

Although this unit is made of solid wood, there are also very flimsy parts included. Construction was made difficult due to this. The soft wooden dowels do not fit snuggly meaning wiggle room and when it comes to turning the item over to nail in the two part flimsy backing board with flimsy wooden parts, the backing boards move around and the dowels too because they are not a good fit move around and break inside the holes. I am still waiting for Wayfair to come back to me on this as I am unable to finish the build due to the broken dowels being wedged in the holes! I have spare dowels which I can pop in holes and wiggle them about, proving an ill fit. This unit is attractive but ill fitting and flimsy parts let’s it down. Not impressed with customer service who have left me hanging a number of times now. I bought this unit as it could delivered before Christmas too!!!

I'm pretty pleased with this chest. It's easy to put together for anyone familiar with a screwdriver, although a couple of the longer screws were hard to get started where the holes weren't pre drilled. Some of the unseen wooden components, being of a very light, low quality wood, benefit greatly by spending a few minutes cleaning them up with sandpaper, however the outer wood is solid & reasonably well finished, even if it is quite a light unit. What does let the chest down though are the drawer knobs. These are very flimsy & fragile. I changed mine for some I bought online & they suit the finished product much better. Once built the chest sits quite solidly & looks good, with plenty of room in the drawers. Obviously not exactly fine joinery but attractive enough & I think it will be quite serviceable for a good few years.
