I purchased the Penda 4-Person Dining Set from Wayfair, and this has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I've had.
First, the order arrived many days past the promised delivery date. When it finally showed up, the cardboard packaging was wet, damaged, and falling apart, which was already a bad sign.
After opening the boxes, I found that several of the metal chair and table legs had chipped paint and visible rust, making the set look used, damaged, or poorly stored before shipment. This was completely unacceptable for a brand-new item.
What made the experience even worse was Wayfair's customer service. I contacted them countless times to report the damage and seek a resolution. Every time, I was met with delays, excuses, and promises to follow up later. Despite repeated complaints, nothing meaningful was done to resolve the issue.
It has now been over a year since the original purchase, and the matter was never properly addressed. The combination of late delivery, damaged and defective furniture, and a complete lack of effective customer support has left me extremely disappointed.
I would not recommend the Penda 4-Person Dining Set, and based on my experience, I would think twice before ordering anything from Wayfair again.
I will also be advising friends, family, and others I know to avoid purchasing this product and to carefully consider alternative retailers.
